Happy Dietitians Week! 🥑 Did you know that a lack of iron is one of the most common micronutrient deficiencies dietitians see? When our bodies don’t absorb enough iron from our daily diet, we can feel weak, tired and sometimes short of breath.  

Why? Iron helps your red blood cells carry oxygen from our lungs to our tissues, skin and muscles, so our body needs enough iron to stay healthy. Iron builds a healthy immune system and gives us the energy we need to live a healthy life.
